I believe that giving back to my community is not only a responsibility but an obligation and have strived to actively participate in several charitable and not-for-profit organizations.  I sit on the Board of Directors for the Boy Scouts of America for the District of Brooklyn (2017-2019). I am a parishioner and member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral for the City of New York and chair the real estate and construction and committee for the Cathedral.  I also routinely provide resources, guidance, advice and counsel to among other organizations including, The Children’s Academy, Shatter Proof and The Greek School of Plato.

Professional Experience
Co-founder and principal of Valyrian Capital LLC (“Valyrian”).  Valyrian is a vertically integrated real estate investment and development firm with offices in New Canaan, Connecticut and New York City. Valyrian focuses on ground-up development and rehabilitations of residential and mixed-use projects in desirable New York City and Fairfield County locations. Valyrian’s objective is to provide its investors with superior risk-adjusted returns driven by efficient execution and superior operational efficiencies, as opposed to cap rate compression or financial engineering. At Valyrian, our philosophy is to focus on “return of capital” and then “return on capital.”  I have capitalized on more than 20 years of legal and real estate experience to create a notable skill set in deal structuring, contract negotiation, leasing, financial engineering and management. Prior to co-founding Valyrian Capital LLC, I was the founding partner of Imian Partners LLC (2005). Prior to founding Imian, I was a principal in Fidelity-AMG Real Estate Development, LLC a real estate investment firm which acquires and develops institutional quality retail properties in the Northeast. I was counsel to the New York firm Eiseman Levine Lehrhaupt & Kakoyiannis, P.C. (2000 to 2004), a boutique law firm with a specialty in real estate acquisition, leasing, development and finance. I provided counsel to owners, contractors and developers in the areas of construction litigation; real estate acquisition; real estate financing; and negotiated and drafted construction contracts. Prior to joining Eiseman Levine, I was an attorney at the New York firm Ingram Yuzek Gainen Carroll & Bertolotti, LLC (1996 to 2000). I specialized in construction litigation and representing architects and engineers in malpractice actions.

Graduated with Honors from New York University (1990); Juris Doctor Degree from Brooklyn Law School (1993). Admitted to the bars of the States of New York and New Jersey.
